THIS WAS THE WHOLE COLLECTION THAT CAME OUT 

 This collection couldn't have come out any sooner. I was in dire need of a gorgeous matte red lipstick for an event & didn't want to cave in to buy Ruby Woo. Thank heavens i waited!!! . Ever since MAC released the RIRI WOO lipstick back in april/may, i've been dying to get it. So as soon as i saw the release i got on to the mac website and tried to get my products for three long hours. It was a struggle, but so glad of the end result. :) 

I ordered three of the five items she had released. I got two of the lipsticks and the blush/bronzer duo. I wasn't to hyped about the riri boy lipstick or the luster drops. They didn't appeal to me nor did i think it would go well with my skin complexion.

I LOVE this matte red lip. It has shades of blue undertones, which helps make your teeth look white. As well the color has a long lasting staying power. This is definitely a must have in your make up drawer. I don't own the ruby woo, so i don't know how it compares, but from reading up on it, under the impression that it is spot on. I must advise though, it can be a bit drying so definitely make sure to moisturize before applying.

At first when i saw Heaux lipstick i was afraid it may have been a dupe for REBEL by MAC. So i had to immediately swatch it side by side. Luckily i was wrong. Rebel definitely has darker purple tones, whereas beaux is on the burgundy fuchsia side. The color is very vibrant and long lasting as well. To prevent it from bleeding i suggest applying cherry by mac lipliner before hand. As well, since it is a matte lipstick, it has been leaving my lips dry. I suggest moisturizing before applying.

I wasn't originally planning on getting this blush/bronzer duo. I was afraid it would not show up on my skin tone. However because MAC's system was all sorts of crazy the day it was released, it ended up in my bag and i couldn't get rid of it. Since i HAD to HAVE the RIRI Woo lipstick, i just ended up getting it anyways.
This blush and bronzer duo is on the contrary very beautiful on darker skin toned ladies. I swirled my stippling brush into the bronzer and blush together and applied it to my cheeks. The color was like a rose gold. It was as if i had been sun kissed. I just absolutely loved the glow it left me. I did try to use it separately as a bronzer and blush. However the colors weren't doing it for me. Im just going to stick with mixing the two colors.

I should really stop checking my emails, i got so addicted to sales and online shopping. But i've been eyeing these leopard pair of shoes for a while now. When i saw that it was on sale and then on top of that i would get a 20% discount, i couldn't pass up the offer. I had to get it. So i figured flats are always a good buy. I figured to step outside my comfort zone of black, brown and nude flats to get a bold color. I chose red, since i felt i can pair it up with more outfits. Plus i always wanted cute red flats.

I got both shoes in a 6.5 which is my shoe size. Both pairs are true to size. However for the leopard pair the toe is a little snug, so if you have chubbier feet you may want size up.

As you can see how adorable these shoes are! So worth the wait for the price i paid. Honestly i was not willing to pay 140 for these sandals. Though 72.00 is a bit more on the pricier side, this was definitely a splurge. I guess since i spent under $100, ill just consider spending 50 on each. It makes me feel less guilty :)

Overall Review: This palette has honestly been my go to palette ever since i got it. I don't even go to my naked's or mac or sigma paris palette. This literally has everything i need, i cant wait to travel with it. The colors are so pigmented and long lasting. The blush/bronzer/highlight work amazing on every skin tone. Im more of the darker complexion and was afraid it wouldn't show up or look good. But i was wrong. The shadows last all day long without a primer, but when i do put a primer on its even better. The colors are really vibrant. I always have a problem with products that claim they are long lasting partially because they never really are. I saw several reviews claiming this truly lasted even in water. I felt the need to test it out, after wearing it for almost 12 hours. I was really happy with the results and longevity. Totally worth the price of $38.00. If you ask me i think its a steal !!

Little Black Bag - 1st impressions & review

LITTLE BLACK BAG REVIEW 
Little Black bag is a subscription service website. First you take a style quiz & LBB will suggest some options that may be to your choosing. Or you can choose an item of your choice & then the stylists chose two items for you. Altogether you receive three items for under $50.00. To me $50 is a lot of money to be paying for a subscription service, however i had gotten an email about 1/2% of my first purchase and i thought why not and try it out if its under 25 bucks. So i got to choose a bag of my choice, and i got two additional items the stylists picked out for me.
The cool thing about LBB is that they have this option where you can trade any or all of your items. You get about a week to trade, for better things of your preference. This part was the most fun for me, it kinda was like gambling. Game of Chance to put it in better words. I had two items that the stylists picked out which i did not like, i used my whole week to trade, trade , trade until i was semi satisfied with my box. Once i was, i pressed ship to me & waited.

Seriously this bag is even cuter in person. I opened the box, and to my surprise i was expecting a smaller cross body, but this is pretty big and will fit a lot of items. Also the quality of the bag is very durable and strong. It not something that the latch will break in a few days, or the binding will fall off. Quality Leather.

This lip liner is very pigmented. The color however is very washed out for my skin tone.  But i guess i can use it underneath a nude lipliner to add a little pink.

Im not really a fan of cream blushes, but this was my first time trying it out. I must say it was hard at first to apply or at least figure out how to. I used a stippling brush and applied it to my cheek. It was very smooth, and dried without feeling greasy or oily. It was perfect for a dewy look. During the summertime for those hot days, if you want something to last all day long a cream blush would be the perfect solution. If anything you can always add a powder blush over your cream blush for even a bigger pop of color & longer lasting power. 

Psssst On the Go Instant Dry Shampoo

Im not really a fan of dry shampoo because i always feel like  it makes my hair even more oilier . I haven't tried this product yet, but once i do i will update this with a review. 

Cailyn Purple Gel Liner

I love love love gel liners. They're so easy and time consuming. The cailyn gel liner is actually very smooth and creamy and glides on like butter. The packaging is very cute and convenient. It comes with a built in brush, i'd probably end up using my own brush but its not bad for those who are first time users. I really wish it was black, because I'm not that bold and brave to wear bright color liners. But oh well summer is coming up, who knows what looks i can come up with.

AHHH i LOVE Sparkle and Glitter. I was super excited to see this palette in my ipsy bag. What was even better was the fact it wasn't just one color, it was a whole palette. This palette is great for those night time looks, just a little glitter is all a girl needs to turn a night time look into a fabulous night time shining star. Im sure these colors will make any eye color pop !! I definitely want to test these out.
